Tips to Grow Lily of the Valley
- Arrange good quality Lily of the Valley rhizome.
- The soil should be evenly moist, rich, well-drained, slightly alkaline.
- Dig a small hole.
- Place the rhizome with the pip (pointed bud) in the planting hole about ½ inch below soil level.
- Spread the roots out around the pip. Space the rhizomes about 6 inches apart. Cover with soil. Water thoroughly
- We can add compost and can spread Mulch lightly around the plants to retain moisture for better growth.
- harvest the flowers when 1/3 of the flowers are open on the stalk. Keep them cool until you are ready to use them. They will last 5 to 7 days in a vase.
