Tips to Grow Columbine

  1. Arrange good quality cuttings with rootball or good quality seeds.
  2. The soil should be evenly moist, but not wet or soggy. It should be rich and well-drained also.
  3. Make a hole in container twice the size of root ball of the cutting. Place the plant in the hole so the top of the root ball is level with the soil surface. Fill in around the plant and firm the soil gently. One plant in each container.
  4. We can add mulch around the plants to protect them in winter season for better growth.
  5. Deadhead faded flowers and new buds will develop along the stems. The bloom season can be extended by as long as six weeks into mid summer.
