Tips to grow KALANCHOE
- Arrange good quality kalanchoe leaves/cutting from a fully grown plant.
- The soil should be evenly moist and well drained. Dry the cutting for three days before planting.
- Fill a small pot with drainage holes in the bottom with well-drained soil. Then make a hole in the soil with a pencil or pen. Take the dried cutting and place it in the hole you made, letting the top of the cutting poke out.
- Though kalanchoe are relatively self-sufficient plants, they do benefit from occasional fertilizing. Use a balanced, organic fertilizer.
- Once your kalanchoe has bloomed, keep an eye out for dead stalks or foliage. If you any dead growths, clip them off carefully with a pair of sharp shears right below where the dead growth starts.
