Tips to Grow Canna
- Arrange good quality canna seeds/rhizomes.
- The soil should be well drained, fertile and moist.
- Dig a hole 2 to 3 inches deep and set the rhizome in the hole, eyes up. Cover the rhizome with one to two inches of soil. Plant 1 rhizome per container.
- We can add compost made by animal waste and mulch around cannas to help them retain moisture as well for better growth.
- If you need to lift your cannas, do so right after the first killing frost in fall.
- When cannas get matured they look very beautiful because they are of many colors like pink, white, red, orange.
