Tips to Grow Oleander
- Arrange good quality nursery plant with fresh root ball.
- These plants are quite adaptable, though, and can usually survive well enough in both dry soils and marshy soils.
- Dig a hole and hole should be about as deep as the root ball but must be two to three times wider. Gently place the root ball into the hole. Loosely fill roughly half of the space around the root ball with garden soil. One plant per container.
- We can add compost for better growth. We can mulch the plant which protects the plant against weeds and allows the roots to remain moist.
- Once a flower cluster dies, cut it off to encourage a longer bloom period overall. After flowers are spent, you should also cut off the stem tips to encourage better branching.
** The values are standard values but might change a bit.
*To get flowers quickly, the users can buy plants from nursery.
