Tips to Grow Banana:

  1. Arrange good quality banana sucker with roots.
  2. The soil should be loose and well drained. It should be moist, but not wet.
  3. Choose a container at least 24 inches wide and deep. Place the sucker 1.5 inches below the soil.
  4. We can add compost made by kitchen and animal waste for better growth. We can also spread mulch around the stem.
  5. The small flower at the tip of each banana will become dry and easily rub off, or the banana plant will lose most of its leaves. This is a good time to harvest the fruit. Cut a notch halfway into the tree, opposite the side of the bunch.
  6. Repot bananas at least once every three years.
