Tips to Grow Banana:
- Arrange good quality banana sucker with roots.
- The soil should be loose and well drained. It should be moist, but not wet.
- Choose a container at least 24 inches wide and deep. Place the sucker 1.5 inches below the soil.
- We can add compost made by kitchen and animal waste for better growth. We can also spread mulch around the stem.
- The small flower at the tip of each banana will become dry and easily rub off, or the banana plant will lose most of its leaves. This is a good time to harvest the fruit. Cut a notch halfway into the tree, opposite the side of the bunch.
- Repot bananas at least once every three years.
