Tips to Grow Scarlet Nantes Carrot:
- Arrange good quality of scarlet nantes carrot seeds.
- The soil should be loamy and well-drained in nature, it should be moist but not wet or soggy.
- Directly sow seeds 1/2 inches deep in the soil. Keep 2-3 inches difference between two plants. Seedlings emerge in 14-21 days.
- We can add compost made by kitchen waste for better growth.
- To make harvesting easier, soak your carrot bed with water before pulling. Twist the tops off while pulling the roots up. Cut the greens off the top after harvest to about ¼ – ½ inches above the shoulder. This will help the carrot to keep longer as the greens can take moisture from the root.
- We can continuously sow new seeds in every 2-3 weeks to get continuous supply.
