Tips to Grow Scarlet Nantes Carrot:

  1. Arrange good quality of scarlet nantes carrot seeds.
  2. The soil should be loamy and well-drained in nature, it should be moist but not wet or soggy.
  3. Directly sow seeds 1/2 inches deep in the soil. Keep 2-3 inches difference between two plants. Seedlings emerge in 14-21 days.
  4. We can add compost made by kitchen waste for better growth.
  5. To make harvesting easier, soak your carrot bed with water before pulling. Twist the tops off while pulling the roots up. Cut the greens off the top after harvest to about ¼ – ½ inches above the shoulder. This will help the carrot to keep longer as the greens can take moisture from the root.
  6. We can continuously sow new seeds in every 2-3 weeks to get continuous supply.
