Tips to Grow Buttercup

  1. Arrange good quality long buttercup corm. The larger the corm, the bigger the plant.
  2. The soil should be evenly moist, well drained, sandy and slightly acidic.
  3. Soak the corms for an hour before, you plant them.
  4. Plant the corm 2 inch deep and 4-6 inch apart with claw side down.
  5. We can mulch around the plants to help keep the soil cool and moist at root level for better growth.
  6. If you wish to use the blooms for cut flowers, you should cut flower stems at a slant when the blooms are in the bud stage for best results. Your cut flowers will last longer.
  7. The flowers of buttercup look like rose, but they are not rose.
