Tips to Grow Tuberose

  1. Buy a good quality rhizomes of tuberose.
  2. The soil should be well draining and highly nutritious. To improve soil quality  mix organic material such as peat moss.
  3. Get a one gallon pot that has drainage holes on the bottom of it. Fill the pot halfway full with moist potting soil. Then, set the rhizomes on top of soil and add enough soil until the rhizomes are about three inches below the rim of the pot. 
  4. We can add compost (made by animal and kitchen waste) and decomposed manure for better growth.
  5. For loose flowers, individual flower is plucked regularly which are used for various purposes whereas for cut flower the spike is cut from the base so that longer spike is available.
  6. Enjoy the fragrance of the beautiful flowers.
