Tips to Grow Taro:

  1. Arrange good quality of taro.
  2. Place taro in a trench 6 inch deep. Grow 2-3 plant in each pot so they’ll have plenty of room to grow.
  3. Cover the taro with 2-3 inches of soil.
  4. We can add compost and give constant supply of mulch for better growth.
  5. Taro are harvested about 200 days after planting when leaves turn yellow and start to die. Lift taro roots before the first frost in autumn. Taro leaves can be picked as soon as the first leaf has opened.
  6. We can continuously plant taro in every 12 weeks before the first crop is harvested for continuous supply.
