Tips to Grow Dill Weed:

  1. Arrange good quality dill seeds..
  2. Dill will grow in most type of soil but it prefers well drained, slightly acidic soil.
  3. Plant dill seeds 0.25 inch deep in soil and 18 inches apart.
  4. Add aged compost to the planting bed in advance of planting.
  5. As soon as the plant has four to five leaves, you can start harvesting. Pinch off the leaves or cut them off with scissors. The plants will keep on producing new leaves.
  6. Plant dill every couple of weeks until mid summer to ensure a constant supply.
