Tips to Grow Coriander:
- Arrange good quality coriander seeds.
- Coriander needs extra fertile soil if growing indoors. The root system range is limited and can’t access as much soil for nutrients as in the garden, hence the nutrition content in the soil needs to be higher. We can add compost to enhance soil fertility.
- Plant the seed 0.25 inches deep in the soil and about 2-3 inches of space in consecutive plants. We can also sow them in random order.
- We can add compost and water soluble fertilizers for better growth of plants.
- Coriander can be harvested when the plant has become six inches tall. At this height, the leaves of the herb will be tender and least bitter. Cut the gentle stems at soil level. Be careful not to cut the plant as it will keep on producing more leaves.
- We can continuously sow new seeds in every 6 weeks to get continuous supply.
