Tips to grow carrots:

  1. Arrange good quality carrot seeds..
  2. The soil should be evenly moist, but not wet or soggy. You can mix in sandy and peat moss for best results which will help give good moisture retention and straight, smooth roots.
  3. Plant the seed 0.25 to 0.5 inches deep in the soil and about 1 inches of space in consecutive plants.
  4. We can add compost and can spread Mulch lightly around the carrots for better growth.
  5. Carrots can be harvested any time after they achieve the desired growth, we can gently dig out the carrots from the soil, the cold weather adds sugar and the taste to the carrot, we can take care of this during harvesting.
  6. We can continuously sow new seeds in every 2-3 weeks to get continuous supply.
